Why did you get into practicing  and teaching yoga?
The Yoga practice lead to my yoga teaching. I was invited to take an Hour of Power with Debbie Williamson, when the studio was Midwest Power Yoga. After one hour class, I was amazed at how difficult yoga was and it put all prior ideas of yoga to rest. I continued on when I could, and became a certified Yoga Body Bootcamp instructor which led me to the 200 Hour teacher training. That training was life changing and improved my personal training, yoga practice, and yoga teaching.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I am a competitive athlete, and in my downtime I am practicing different yoga and weight training skills I’d like to accomplish. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, and live moment to moment in those situations. An open weekend is a great weekend as it provides opportunities for anything!

Tell us a bit about your background and family.
I grew up in Menasha and have been a Fox Cities boy all my life. I love the busy calmness of the Fox Cities. Lots to do without the craziness of large cities in the US.

What do you try to bring to your yoga classes?  What can we expect in the classes you teach?
Each class I teach, it is my goal to bring empowerment to all of the participants. I teach my classes as if the room is filled with 100 people. Regardless of the number, each individual in that class took their own personal time to attend, and my job is to give them with the best experience possible. Come to the class ready to move, SWEAT, and breathe. I incorporate various training and coaching methods into my classes. Most of all, prepared to be challenged, but most importantly, have some fun!

Anything else you would like to share?
Between my Personal/Group Training career and Yoga teaching at TNT Fitness Results in Menasha as well as Pura Vida I stay busy. At the same time, I maintain a training and practice schedule to continue to learn and grow individually and share that with all the people I come across. I will continue to grow and in time own a fitness/yoga facility in the Fox Cities!
